Asian Food Collective
I founded the Asian Food Collective, a volunteer-led group focused on building Pan-Asian/Asian American community by cooking and eating together.
So far over $60,000 has been raised to cook over 4,000 meals (and counting); and we have engaged over 200 volunteers and 10+ organizations and businesses. On April 2024, we held our first Instagram in collaboration with two local Asian-owned businesses. The giveaway garnered over 160+ entries.
I built AFC from the ground up from creating a volunteer program, recruiting volunteers and community partners, and raising money and in-kind donations. I also utilize my MarComm experience by creating content for Instagram, TikTok, and Constant Contact. Asian Food Collective has gained over 2,800+ followers on Instagram and has been featured on local news 5+ times.
